Renowned NFT project Azuki has announced a collaboration with AnimeCoin and Arbitrum to introduce blockchain technology to the animation industry. Azuki plans to showcase the potential of a decentralized model for IP growth through anime productions, games, and physical products.

All current Azuki NFT holders are eligible to claim AnimeCoin from the Azuki Treasury Pool, with the allocation amount determined by the value of their Azuki NFT portfolio and length of ownership. The claiming window is limited to 48 hours.

The demand for anime has never been greater, transforming from a niche subculture to a dominant force in mainstream global pop culture. Anime's meteoric growth across various fields such as entertainment, fashion, sports, music, gaming, and art is projected to reach $60 billion by 2030.

AnimeChain aims to create an ecosystem for the next generation of anime that empowers both creators and participants. Its mission is to provide the infrastructure that enables the global anime network to thrive onchain, governed by creators and participants.
